The Hot Springs Campground is located in the Hart Mountain Antelope Refuge.
This remote and rugged campground is the perfect place for respite and to immerse yourself in nature. What this hidden gem lacks for by way of traditional amenities, more than makes up for it with its abundance of wildlife viewing, two on-site hot springs (one is very primitive), private camp spots and views of mountain.

Headquarter is open 24-hours a day, though not staffed, and provides information about the refuge, wildlife and has potable water.

Driving Directions:
The Refuge is easily accessible by paved and well maintained gravel roads from the nearest full service communities of Lakeview, Oregon (65 miles west) and Burns, Oregon via Hwy 395 (120 miles north). Gas and groceries are available in the smaller communities of Plush (10 miles west), Fields (80 miles southeast) and seasonally in Frenchglen (28 miles east).
