Converge45 Triennial: Here, to You, Now

Every three years, Converge 45 turns Portland into a citywide destination for contemporary art. From August 27–30, the opening weekend of the 2026 Converge 45 Triennial, Here, To You, Now, invites visitors and locals alike to explore ambitious new installations, performances, films, and events across 16 venues throughout the city.

Curated by Lumi Tan, the 2026 Triennial brings together more than 25 artists from Portland and beyond, with opening weekend events at Oregon Contemporary, PICA, PNCA, the Reser Center for the Arts, and twelve other spaces across campuses, storefronts, galleries, and public sites. Inspired by the writing of Ursula K. Le Guin, Here, To You, Now celebrates the energy of experiencing art together, in real time, across the city. Free and open to the public, it’s a chance to discover Portland through one of its signature cultural events. 

Visitors can explore a wide array of mediums—including video, animation, dance, visual arts, and interactive installations—hosted at galleries, colleges, public spaces, and cultural hubs across the region, such as PICA, PNCA, Oregon Contemporary, Reser Center for the Arts, and Portland International Airport. Opening weekend kicks off the season with citywide receptions, live performances, film screenings, and artist talks.
