Now in its third year, Rockstar Energy Open is set to electrify downtown. The three-day spectacle, open to the public, unites the next generation of skateboarding phenoms with world-class legends — bringing fans a high-impact weekend built to showcase the Rockstar Energy Live Loud identity, where skateboarding, music, and culture collide at full volume. Now in its third year, the event features Men’s and Women’s Park and Street competitions with top skateboarders from around the globe, including Rockstar Energy athletes Keegan Palmer, Chris Joslin and defending Men’s Street champion Lazer Crawford; as well as Olympic medalists Tom Schaar and Sky Brown.

A defining element of the Rockstar Energy Open is its Video Qualifying Series (VQS), a groundbreaking pathway that invites skateboarders from around the world to submit their best video parts for a chance to earn a coveted spot in Portland. By opening the door to global talent, the VQS creates a rare opportunity for rising stars to compete alongside some of the sport’s most established names. Beyond the competition, fans can explore the festival village, a dynamic hub that extends the event’s energy beyond the course. From interactive installations and sponsor activations to local food vendors, beverage experiences, and live artist performances, the village offers an all-day extension that captures the spirit of skate culture and music in one place.
