Critics have likened her to Erykah Badu, Nina Simone, and Lauryn Hill for her sharp lyricism paired with jazz-inspired instrumentation. She’s celebrating the 10th anniversary of her landmark debut Telefone at the same place she first toured the album, at the Wonder Ballroom.
