Start with a hearty breakfast from Mel’s Kamper Kitchen. Then hit the beach, Devils Lake or the Lincoln City Kite Festival (there’s one in Summer and one in Fall). The area boasts miles of soft beaches, perfect for whale watching, lighthouse touring and glass-float finding. Yes, the “float fairies” of the Lincoln City Visitor and Convention Bureau hide thousands of handmade, multicolored glass floats along the beaches. You’ll find the same beautiful floats for sale in the campground store. At the end of the day, “float” on back to KOA, close enough to the Pacific for easy access yet inland enough to avoid coastal fog and wind. Pull-Thru RV Sites now have 50-amp service! Enjoy a barbecue and local Tillamook ice cream.
