NESKOWIN: This quaint village features a beautiful beach in the shelter of Proposal Rock. Commercialism is limited to the Neskowin Marketplace Deli/Grocery, a 9-hole golf course, a riding stable (summers only) and an art gallery. Neskowin is 10 miles north of Lincoln City and 30 miles from the Oregon Coast Aquarium.
PACIFIC CITY: A few miles north of Neskowin, this former sleepy fishing village is coming to life with shops, galleries and several excellent restaurants. Year-round horseback riding and fishing charters are available by appointment. The beach at Cape Kiwanda is home of the dory fleet and offers tidepools and 300-foot dunes for climbing.
