Open Claim Vineyards was founded to grow benchmark Pinot Noir and Chardonnay on a Willamette Valley property the Wall family has tended for over 20 years. Honoring the land and respect for nature inspires all the decision making – from the careful preservation of the property’s oak enclave and wildlife corridor to the commitment to sustainable winegrowing and dry farming. Since inception the Wall’s have farmed organically and are strongly committed to the responsible stewardship of their most valued resource, their vineyard and its soil.
Your visit to Open Claim represents the fullest expression of their vision for the vineyard. Each visit is casual and unhurried, and includes a walking tour through the natural beauty of our grounds, vineyard, and gardens.
The wine tasting focuses on the commitment to estate grown wines, comparing current release and library vintages in an intimate and educational format.
